Each week there will be an independent 9-hole event on the front and back nines.  The event for the week will be posted on the first tee.  There will be proximity and long putt on both nines and low putts on the front nine.

You must maintain a handicap at Deer Run and play with at least 1 other Men’s League member to be eligible for the weekly independent events.

Fivesomes – One person will need to fill out a separate card that will be grouped with other singles or twosomes to make a group.

A 2-day Club Championship has been scheduled for Saturday and Sunday, September 13 & 14, tee times will be in the early afternoon.  We will again field a 24 man team to play in the MPGA tournament.  The 24 man team is generally geared toward low handicappers.  Watch the bulletin board in the locker room for more details on both events.

The Deer Run Men’s League will play on Thursday’s and have a similar format as in the past.  The league will be handled by the Deer Run staff and begin play on May 1, 2008 and run through August 28, 2008.  The league will start at 8:00 am with separate events on the Front and Back nines and continue through the last tee time at 6:30 pm.  Weekly events will be posted on the first tee.  After you finish your round, stop in at Augie’s pub, turn in your scorecard at the bar, and receive a complimentary draft beer. 

You may also be interested in our preferred player packages.  These packages offer a discount on 18 hole rounds and include handicap service.  If you elect to purchase a preferred player package, you don’t need to pay the handicap fee for the league as it will be included with your preferred package.  If you have an existing GHIN number include it on the entry form.  If you have never had handicap service before, Deer Run will assign a GHIN number for you.
