Description
The Deer Run 9-hole
Ladies Tuesday Afternoon Golf League offers local women
golfers a great opportunity to routinely play nine holes
every Tuesday with tee times starting at noon and
continuing until 6:30pm. It’s a league for women golfers
to enjoy golf and to add to their skills and knowledge
of the game. Our Spring Open House is Tuesday, April 26th
from 6:30-8:30pm. Join us for fun, food and prizes.
Season league fees are only $80 ($60 for Deer Run
members). These fees enable social events and weekly
games adding to the fun of being part of a golf league.
The first day of
League Play will be May 3, last day of play is
August 23, 2011.
Here are some other
things to remember for League play:
- Please remember to put your actual score into
the computer to help establish and update your
handicap.
- Incomplete scorecards will be disqualified and
will not be eligible to win prize Chits.
- Closest to Pin contest is held each week. Longest
Drive and Longest Putt will be awarded on
alternating weeks.
- Play from the Red tees.
- Please make sure your handicap is written on the
scorecard before turning the card in at the end of
the round.
- Please include your last name
- We will draw one name every week for a free golf cart pass.
8/29/11 Update:
Reminder: Chits must be used in the Deer Run Pro
Shop by the end of October. The banquet is a great
opportunity to spend your chits! The pro shop desk
has a listing of total chit winnings for all league
members.
We would like to take this opportunity to thank you
for making this a great year! We are also looking
for members to get involved in either volunteering
for events or joining the board for the 2012 Deer
Run Ladies Afternoon Golf League.
