About Our Authors

Tom Abts, PGA, is the Head Golf Professional at Deer Run Golf Club in Victoria, Minnesota.  Deer Run GC was recently named one of the top twenty public courses in Minnesota and is home to Fast Play Friday.  Abts also writes a monthly newspaper column and frequently appears on local radio and television.  Though a native of Minnesota, Abts graduated from Arizona State University and often finds himself in warmer climates during the winter.
