    Course Information

We have a brand new cart barn. That might not sound exciting, but it is. Because of the cart barn, we now have a new fleet of electric EZ Go golf cars. Electric cars are smoother and quieter than gas cars. These are also more comfortable with special bucket-seats, and each car has a cooler to help with your thirst needs on a hot day. And, each car is equipped with a state-of-the-art GPS system to help you navigate your way throughout the round.

Think about it – you spend the majority of your round on a golf car … don’t you want it to be really good?

Speaking of really good … our Power Tee driving range is at least really good. Just pour the balls into the slot, and they pop-up one-at-a-time for your hitting pleasure. No more needlessly bending over to get a ball or to tee-it-up. Power Tee has 4 different varieties of height to tee your ball.

We were looking for ways to improve the experience of warming-up before the round. When we saw Power Tee at St. Andrews (yes-that St. Andrews) … we knew that we had found what we were looking for.

Of course we like and respect Scottish golf. But we also love Irish golf – especially their pubs. So, Augie’s Pub – named after former DRGC player and legendary basketball coach Augie Schmidt – is an Irish Pub featuring Guinness on tap and a vast selection of Irish whiskey. Don’t worry … we also have a great selection of scotch, bourbon, gin, vodka, tequila, and other necessary liquors. Besides Guinness, our tap beer selection is excellent and enhanced with a variety of can beers. Don’t forget about wine. We haven’t. We have the wine bases covered – not just for winos but for the connoisseur.

Augie’s Pub is not just for drinking … it also offers good food. Not your elegant French restaurant … but good basic food. Why can’t simple basic food be good? It should. And this is. Good brats and hot dogs. Really good hamburgers. Great sandwiches. Our club-sandwich is legendary. Chicken-wings, French fries, tater-tots, etc. Good. Food.
